We would like to express our sincere thanks for the care and attention Kirstin Brainard provided to our dad earlier this year in the trauma unit. Dad was moved down from SICU, and while in the care of Kirstin, his condition became worse. She handled the situation with professionalism, caring words to our dad and our family, and most importantly, took very good care of him.
Kirstin made sure when speaking with Dad when she was doing anything medically on him, that she would talk to him so he could understand and also made Dad feel at ease when his health was not the best and made him smile when we could not even do that. She kept her cool while he was getting sicker and handled all the responsibilities of his care even while paging the doctors and any other staff that was needed. I was truly amazed of how she handled herself during this time, not only with Dad, but with all of our family that was there as well. We had a lot of concerns and questions and she answered them with ease and made sure we understood and put our mind to rest.
Dad was not in her care long since he was moved back to ICU, but our family all stated she was a remarkable nurse that was caring, kind and very patient. Thank you for taking good care of our dad and family when he was in your care Kirstin.
