Kirsty Hollis, RMN

There is no single time to point out Kirsty's compassionate care, as this is something she does every single day. Kirsty is an advocate for those in her care, always seeking ways to make our young people's stay easier. Kirsty quickly develops rapport with the young people, building their trust, by going out of her way to ensure their voice is heard, doing ecgs and bloods for those on other wards who are anxious or have a trauma background, to facilitate young people going on leave and to also ensure their voice voice of the family is heard as well. Not only our young people but I, as a colleague, have been a recipient of Kirsty's compassionate nature - she is always celebrating my successes with me, building me up to be an even better nurse, and being a constant support during the hard times. She often puts herself last to prioritise the needs of others, and after 13 years of hard work and dedication, she really deserves some recognition.
