A 26-year-old foreign male patient was admitted to ICU-3 for 3 weeks. It was quite difficult for his parents to see him in such an unstable condition. Kittikawin Korngirawaranon took incredible care of him like his own brother. Kittikawin also supports the patient’s parents' morale during difficult times by showing compassion, care, respect, and remembering details. Later, the patient’s condition improved and they were able to be transferred to the ward. Before returning to his country, the patient visited ICU-3 to thank the team for treating him and saving his life. The patient also gave Kittikawin a card with a message saying, “Kitty and ICU-3 team , thank you for the wonderful care. I am forever in debt to you.”

In November 2023, the patient came back to Thailand and paid a visit to ICU3 to give a hug and thank Kittikawin. He conveyed his feelings towards Kittikawin as follows: “Dear Kitty and the nursing team. I would like to thank you for your timeless dedication. Because of your work I have been able to see my loved ones again. I have a second chance at life.”
