I could not have asked for a better team to help me fulfill my mother's and my wish for her to die at home. I had no idea how hard it was going to be and couldn't have done it without their help and support.
While everyone was wonderful, I want to extend a special thank you to Kitty, my night nurse. She was always there for me every time I called in the middle of the night. She answered questions, told me what to do, calmed me down and comforted me when I was scared and crying. And she stayed on the phone with as long as I needed her.
I hope that Baptist Hospice recognizes these people for their selfless dedication. They are a huge asset. I don't know what I would have done without them. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
