I was there for days when Yasmine comes to my room to meet me and introduce herself as the nurses changed shifts. She was very warm and compassionate when we talked and always brought me a drink whenever she came to my room, after telling her how I was constantly thirsty from the surgery. Other times she would come to my room to check on me and we would just sit and talk and laugh and share our personal stories and we had the best time. She helped me walk up and down the hallway, as I was supposed to and I felt like she cared about what she was doing for me that I felt like she was like my daughter that couldn’t be there. She even treated my husband and son very well. They had a few touching moment conversations, as if she knew them, but didn’t. I was so pleased to meet her that when I go back for my next surgery, I am praying that she will be there again to take care of me again. I wish all nurses could be like her, an outstanding nurse and woman.
