Kori is a charge nurse in the ED. In the 10 months I have been working at Presbyterian I have seen her go above and beyond for her patients and staff. One particular moment I recall is when an elderly woman needed a walker and it was not available. She must have called more than 8 places to get her sorted out with one to go home with. Kori always has a smile on her face and greets everyone one, housekeeping, scribes, dispatch, EMTs, doctors, everyone. Although I may not know her personally I know her presence plays a vital role in the flow of the ED. The simple tasks make you aware she cares. Thank you Kori.
