I brought my 92-year-old mother-in-law into the emergency room. She has the start of dementia. She was diagnosed with dehydration. Korissa not only calmed me but did an amazing job calming and consoling my mother-in-law. Korissa took her time and explained numerous times to her what was going on and what to expect next. Dementia (and nursing) can be tiresome, and I believe it was towards the end of Korissa’s shift, but you wouldn't know it. She talked my mother-in-law into eating- telling her how good the roast beef was, and that made our 92-year-old very happy (and she loved the meal)! Korissa checked on "J" a lot. How do these nurses do it?? She made sure "J" was comfortable and warm. THANK YOU, CGH, for hiring such caring nurses. We appreciate the care and time that Korissa gave us.
