I can count on Kortney and it means a lot to me to be supported and just to be present.
I would say Kortney meets all criteria listed here:

In my own words, I am a cancer patient who comes in routinely for inpatient treatment. Kortney "sticks with me" each step of the wayat least so far! On round/cycle four! I wanted her recognized because of the special/natural connection.
The KH and 3 East team all are very good and compassionate. Kortney waves hello, tells me "I'm your nurse...I will be right in," on admit and she comes. She comes in routinely to check on me. When she says she will be back, she comes back. She uses humor, she laughs, and I can see her smiling even behind her masks. Her eyes talk a lot. She is very supportive. That is the word I would use to sum it up. I can count on her and it means a lot to me to be supported and just to be present. She makes it easy and natural and I appreciate her. It may seem normal but to me Kortney is extraordinary, and the connection on a patient-level means more than I can express.
