Kourtney joined in song with her patient's homecare giver on the day that he was transitioning to hospice. Very somnolent prior, when Kourtney utilized her gift of being in her church choir and sang a duet with the caregiver, the patient was able to open his eyes with the sound of their caring voices. What a great way to display our values of compassion and excellence. Kourtney carried her joy and sorrow for other patients in her heart all shift. We are lucky to have Kourtney on our team.
