My wife was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Day. At that time, she was fully intubated. Me and several members of my family- mother in law and sister stayed with her around the clock. During that time, Kourtni was our nurse multiple nights. Kourtni was exceptional and fit well with our family, but especially with me. She was able to anticipate all my questions and concerns and answered them before I even asked them. For several days that Kourtni worked, I don't think she sat down for more than a few minutes always anticipating the next alarm and taking care of it before it went off at times. This anticipation gave me a lot of comfort and allowed me at times to even get some rest. I will always remember Kourtni with my sister and me on New Year's Eve.
