Kris Hess, RN

I wish I could put into words how much of an impact Kris Hess has previously and continues to make on the care and outcomes of trauma patients. Kris pours her entire heart and soul into the patients that we care for who have fallen victim to traumatic injuries. She truly believes that every person who comes through the doors of Eskenazi matters and that they deserve the best care possible, and she will advocate for every patient as if they were her family member. Kris is not afraid to speak up for her patients if she feels their care isn't up to or above Eskenazi's standards, but she does it kindly with a warm heart and the best of intentions. Utilizing standards of care, evidence-based practice, and a soul that yearns to spread love and kindness, Kris is a prime example of what every Eskenazi employee should strive to be. I feel comfortable and highly safe knowing that trauma care in Indianapolis continues improving, thanks to Kris's hard work and dedication. Words cannot describe the relief I see when a trauma patient comes in and Kris shows up, ready to jump in and help in any way possible.
