I have worked with Kris for over 23 years. Kris started as my nursing preceptor 23 years ago and I continue to refer back to her for nursing knowledge. Kris has worked in this LTACH setting for 26 years. She started out as a bedside nurse and then moved to the role of Nursing Supervisor. Kris has also covered other various roles in this hospital when there was a need. Kris does an outstanding job of collaborating with each department to produce a positive outcome for each patient. She is a true patient advocate. She is so kind and patient with family and visitors.

Families have shared they feel less anxious when she is working. I would definitely let Kris take care of me if I were hospitalized. When I’m working, I know that I hear Kris's name or “I don’t know ask Kris," at least 10-20 times in a work day. The staff respects her and in turn, Kris shows respect to staff and is there to help at any given time.
