Kris Nicholas, RN

I was unexpectedly hospitalized last week, and I was feeling very vulnerable and in much discomfort. Kris came on duty and, after a professional and thorough exam, sat down, made eye contact, and began to talk with me in a comforting manner. That simple act of sitting and getting to know me was very reassuring and is an example of excellence in caring; Kris personifies everything a nurse should be: kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and available. During her shift, Kris checked on me hourly and kept me up to date on tests, results, and what to expect. She is a credit to BCH and a wonderful person to boot! You are lucky to have her.
