Kris was an amazing nurse. I had an alcoholic withdrawn seizure and Kris made me feel like I deserved care rather than making me feel like I was not worth it because I am an alcoholic. Kris sat patiently with me and my fiancée and asked questions about my history. I was so glad she included my fiancée, so she knew what was happening too. Kris was very concerned about my comfort level and explained everything that was happening. Kris was positive and professional; even so, she felt like a friend and got me to talk about what was happening in my life. She smiled and laughed with me and my fiancée and made my ER visit so much more relaxing. I didn't feel rushed or that I was just a number - I felt like a person that Kris was really interested in helping. I'm happy to say that I have been sober since my seizure, and part of that was that Kris made me feel worthy!
