June 2022 Honoree
Krishna Kalata, RN
My mother was on a ventilator for 6 days and as I was so worried about her I would sit there and cry. Ms. Krishna would always have the most hopeful words to take my worries away and she was always on top of my mother's care. The day my mother was extubated, Krishna was not her nurse but when she found out, she made sure to come and check on my mom and give her a thumbs up and say, "Good Job Momma", the day after she was her nurse once again and my mother absolutely fell in love with her just like we the family did. In total, Krishna has been at my mom's side 4 days, and I am so grateful for her loving care toward her patients.
Thank you, Krishna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
