Krisline M Cruz, BSN, RN

Ms. Krisline Cruz is one of the greatest leaders I have ever seen in my nursing career! She inspires and influences the unit staff to achieve their maximum potential and excel in nursing care, thus making the veteran feel safe and satisfied. She encourages the staff to engage and participate in the organizational activities, including various Committees, and to apply its input for the growth of the unit. She is a strong leader, and I personally believe working with her helped me boost my self-confidence and engage in various organizational activities. It is only because of her encouragement and support that I was able to attend a national nursing conference where I did a team presentation and received the Super Prestigious DAISY Team Award for Nurses Advancing Health Equity. Because of her support, I was honored during the Tier 4 Huddle with PENTAD leadership as well. It gave me a sense of working together toward common goals.

She serves as a role model and motivates and influences the team for a safe, civil workplace with a culture of high morale and job retention. She is easily approachable and ensures that patient care can be provided effectively in a safe and healthy environment while promoting wellness among all healthcare staff. She will definitely make a difference in workplace culture, boosts morale, and promotes a psychologically safe workplace for the 3B staff.

I highly recommend Ms. Krisline Cruz for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award, as this is one of the highest honors that a Nurse leader could get!!
