Krissy Klare, RN
Kristina “Krissy” Klare has been at the Cincinnati VA for 10 years starting out on 5 North and now she is in the SICU. Kristina demonstrates advocacy every day she comes to work and is not afraid to voice her feelings to others when they are not looking out for the best interest of the Veteran. She gives 100% to providing the highest quality care regardless of what is going on in her personal life.
On multiple occasions, Krissy demonstrates advocacy by whoever is the sickest on the unit regardless of whether it is her assigned patient or not. On top of caring for her own patients, she makes a point to check in on her fellow staff and assist in caring for these complex patients. Krissy has been an asset to Veterans, and staff since day one, she is what Nursing is all about!
