The patient arrived in the ED for lightheadedness and dizziness. The patient was later to be diagnosed as an NSTEMI. Orders for heparin drip were placed. Krista, as a patient advocate, was concerned that the patient never received a head CT for her dizziness. She was persistent with the ED doctor. The CT scan showed a subdural hematoma. Krista saved this patient's life. Thank you, Krista!
