Krista was my nurse for three days. Anything that I needed, she got it for me. She explained everything very well. She brings an upbeat air into the room when she comes into my room. One of the many things that she did for me was this: After surgery, they placed an Aquacel pad over the stitches on the back of my neck. When I got to rehab, it needed to be removed. It had stuck to the back of my head. It had glued itself to my hair. They worked hard to remove it but couldn't get it loose. A day later, Krista saw it and asked if she could remove it for me. She worked for some 15 minutes, getting it all removed. And lastly, the day before I was dismissed from rehab she came back to my room to say goodbye and wish me luck. She treated my wife with the utmost respect, and that means the world to me.
