Krista exemplifies what a great nurse is. She is excellent at her job and always provides high-quality care to her patients always. Unfortunately in the ICU, there are no showers, so when we have “normal” patients who want something better than our CHG baths, it’s not possible. For one of our SI precaution patients, Krista went above and beyond and brought her down to the ED shower in order for the patient to freshen up and feel better. I hear Krista talking to her patients with such genuine kindness, even when she is super busy and it’s 6:45 pm. She always makes time to bathe CHG her patients, comb their hair, and turn and reposition patients for their comfort. Krista always makes time to help her coworkers and maintain a positive attitude, even on a bad/chaotic day. She deserves recognition and all the awards!

Krista Brown was the best nurse to me. She was very professional and polite. She did the same things the other nurses did, but she did it with purpose. She left me with a smile on my face and made me feel like trying to get better. She was very positive and very thorough in everything that she did, and she double‐checked everything. By far, she is the best nurse! I could praise her forever. I will never forget her. Krista Brown is the best! I could go on and on!
