Krista was nominated by a patient and his wife for her quick recognition of an Acute MI and extraordinary efforts to get him to our host hospital's Heart Cath Lab. Krista was able to quickly identify the signs and symptoms of her patient having an MI. She rushed the patient down to our host hospital's Cath Lab but was met with many barriers. She remained by the patient's side the entire time and adamantly advocated for him. Due to her persistence, the patient received a life-saving Heart Cath in a timely fashion. The patient had a 90% block in his LAD artery and is lucky to have survived. The patient and family say he is alive today because of Krista!
