From Father: My wife and I were recently hospitalized after a devastating 37-week intrauterine fetal demise for induction and delivery. Krista was our day nurse throughout the hospitalization, and her unparalleled compassion requires recognition. We do not have the words to express our gratitude for her care. She sat with my wife whenever I needed to be out of the room. She hugged us when we were at our most vulnerable, despite the COVID pandemic --- like when I first held my stillborn child and was crying uncontrollably. She was so gentle and respectful with our baby and did such a good job with the unit photos and assisting the volunteer photographers so that we could have memories of the only day we would ever have with our baby. The horrible experience would have been so much worse if she hadn't been there for us.
From Mother: There are no words to express how much it meant to have Krista with us during the worst days of my life. Her kindness and gentleness and support are unsurpassed. It has always been hard for me to accept help, but Krista made it so comfortable for me. I hate to be vulnerable or need assistance, but it was easy to relax and let Krista take care of me.
