You can't teach empathy, compassion, kindness, or having the heart and soul that sincerely cares about other human beings.
I could recognize Krista for her expertise in her field and for her professionalism alone. She was so thorough in explaining my situation, what it is, how it works, and how we would get through this. Knowledge and understanding in your profession are great things but Krista has qualities and characteristics that can't be learned in a classroom. She truly cares about the people she helps. You can't teach empathy, compassion, kindness, or having the heart and soul that sincerely cares about other human beings. She has the brains and drive to do this incredibly difficult job, but more importantly, she has the heart and soul to care about people and make sure they get the best care possible. I am blessed to have gotten the chance to meet her and this hospital is blessed to have her. I would love to think that I am just special but I know everyone gets this kind of care from her.
