I’ve been impressed with all of the nurses I’ve come across here at Baptist, but Krista was particularly helpful, kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. As a physician, I recognize that I’m not the easiest patient, but Krista did not let that affect her treatment of me nor did she assume I knew what was going on just because I am an MD. She explained everything well, took time with me, and was just a wonderful person to be with at such a trying time. When I found out I had to have a C-Section, my first question was whether my husband could be with me. The second was whether Krista could too. She stayed with me the whole night and really went above and beyond the call of duty.
