Kristen Burrows, ASN, RN

We commend Kristen because she made what could have been a scary experience for our son an entirely different one. She always presented herself as upbeat and ready to tackle whatever was ahead. 

Our son truly loved his experience with her. Fortunately, she was our nurse for two nights of our stay, and we could not be more grateful. 

She stayed on top of his medicine, allowed him to ask any and all questions, and answered with incredible patience and kindness. Kristen shared a goodbye phrase with him, “Peace out Boy Scout,” and that became something he looked forward to saying back to her and made him feel more than a patient. He got to continue being a kid. 

Not only did she do everything she could to make his experience the most incredible. She made sure we were comfortable and consistently informed. She explained everything to all of us. 

We could not have asked for a better experience 

During the hardest night my son had with pain, she was there constantly and cared for him as a mother would. I’m beyond grateful for her.
