October 2023 Honoree
Kristen Carpenter, RN
I work in Centralized Registration, and I normally come in at 5 am. I have witnessed Kristen on multiple occasions see a struggling patient having trouble walking, grab a wheelchair bring them to me at centralized registration, and be concerned about the patient not being able to get upstairs. We can always get them upstairs for surgery. Kristen does this on her own time, before clocking in. Her personality and concern for our patients are just what this hospital needs. Kristen puts time into work before she gets paid. She does this out of the goodness of her heart. It just touches me with her compassion for her job and the patients. Thank you, Kristen, for all your hard work. it does not go unnoticed. These patients go on and on about how sweet you were.
Thank you, Kristen, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
