Kristen has worked on the Palliative/Hospice unit for 3 years. She recently became a certified Hospice/Palliative care nurse and is working on her clinical ladder. In addition, she is enrolled in a master's program at Oakland University in Forensic Nursing with a focus on elder abuse. Kristen's co-workers describe her as caring, determined, and an important asset to the 6-center team. Kristen has received multiple Saluting the Stars from patients and families who refer to her as compassionate, knowledgeable, dedicated, and empathetic. 6 center management and staff are proud to have Kristen as an example of Palliative/Hospice nursing.
