Kristen nursed T for 3 days. She was thorough, caring, skilled, kind and creative. She particularly worked with his family to solve his critical nutritional needs. She printed extra information for us and consulted his doctor and the dieticians. When his comfort level needed a change, she ordered a better bed and a special chair cushion. She helped T set goals to let him know he was gaining ability to make choices.
As I listened to her exchanges with the next nurse, I appreciated her details at this critical time. It was a blessing to meet her.
