January 2020 Honoree
kristen coffey, RN
We first met when I was admitted for PPROM at 17 weeks. She was very helpful and sensitive to my situation. She kept me motivated and by the time I left the hospital I was sure I was going to come back to deliver a healthy baby. Unfortunately, I went into labor a few days later and was being attended to by another nurse. Kristen came to see me and her positivity cheered me up.
I had a premature delivery and my baby wasn't able to survive. Kristen again came to my help. She was very sensitive and supportive. She understood all the emotions I was going through. She gave me time with my baby and provided me resources to help cope with my grief. I thank her and appreciate all of the help she provided me.

Thank you, Kristen, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
