When I recently found myself in and out of the hospital due to a partially blocked bowel obstruction, I received care from over 12 different nurses. Haley stood out among them all. I was at my lowest of lows, with a tube down my nose sucking bile out of my stomach, losing hope that I would ever feel good again. Haley was so kind, always checking in on me, seeing if I needed anything. She even came to Interventional Radiology to give me my pain medication while I was waiting to go to CT scan. Later, she helped me get cleaned up, new sheets, washed hair, clean clothes. And the best was that she even braided my hair so I wouldn't have to lay on my ponytail. Haley spent time trying to cheer me up. Her care, compassion, and kindness will never be forgotten! She brought sunshine back to my world!
