Kristen Hardy, RN

My mother was a patient in CICU for several weeks and was eventually placed on a ventilator and passed away exactly 11 weeks after my father passed. Kristen was my mom’s nurse the day she passed but had been nurturing me and my sister from the very beginning. She offered guidance, compassion, and sympathy at every turn. She listened to our fears and concerns and answered all of our questions. She took time to get to truly get to know us. She listened attentively to stories about our mom and was very gracious as we shared pictures of our personal hero. My mother was a glorious woman and a force of nature. Kristen treated her as she would’ve treated her own mother even in the face of death. I cannot say enough about Kristen. She simply exemplified excellent qualities all around and I am very thankful.

Note: I actually suffered a seizure at my mom’s bedside and Kristen was so supportive of me while still caring for my mother.
