Kristen Hoffpauir, BSN RN

In the 35 years I have been in ERs, NEVER have I had a nurse like Kristen. She treated us like she knew us. We were not just patients to her - she cared, she talked to us, she made us feel heard, and her concern for our circumstance was evident. She gave us first-class treatment! I wish every patient and family member could have a Kristen in their hospital room, and we are so very grateful that she was in ours. She is much more than a nurse and deserves to be recognized not only because she excels at her profession but for excelling as a human being.
