My husband and I were greeted bright and early by a warm humorous nurse. She picked up on the fact that my husband was very nervous about having his pacemaker of only 8 months needing to be removed and a newly upgraded defibrillator to be implanted. Kristen soothed him and talked with him to calm his trembling body. Once he was taken to the cath lab for the procedure, she checked on me for comfort. Once my husband returned to the room, she soothed his worries and offered her support, and brought some light humor to the table. I love how she handled my husband! She reassured him and respected his dignity while uplifting his spirits. She possessed such positive energy that it was infectious! I didn't want to leave. I almost forgot that I was in a hospital. Kristen is a gift to Banner and her patients! We wish the best of luck to her as she advances in the medical field. I hope that Banner recognizes the gifts and talents that she brings to work every day. God bless Kristen and thank you.
