Kristen is the most exceptional nurse I have ever worked with! Her level of compassion for both her residents and her team is inspiring to say the least. The skills and knowledge Kristen displays are exceptional. She has a heart of gold. You can tell she loves what she does! She is always going the extra mile for residents and for our team. She works efficiently.
Our residents are delighted every morning they are greeted by Kristen. Many have been heard saying they know they will have a great day with her as their nurse. You can always count on her to be up-to-date and on top of the latest information, policies, etc. She is a nurse you can count on to take concerns seriously and act when appropriate.
One of Kristen's greatest characteristics to me is her ability to not only give but receive constructive criticism. She always gently corrects me if needed and does it in such a way that you know she is giving feedback because she cares and wants to help you grow. She also balances home and work life wonderfully. She is dependable and also picks up to help the team often!
I don't mean to write a book, but Kristen really is amazing! Our facility is beyond blessed to have her working for us. I am so thankful to be able to work side by side with her almost daily. I believe she is a DAISY Nurse not only for her skills and compassion but for her perfect ability to display the Our Best Begins with Me model also!
