On Sunday evening, my two-year-old son was brought to the ER via EMS and admitted at 1 am on Monday morning. Kristen Lynch was the assigned nurse, and she not only provided exceptional care to my son, connecting with him and making him smile and giggle, but she also managed to make a scary experience for my husband and me more comfortable by explaining the plan and ensuring our comfort and understanding of what was being done. She provided options where she could and showed genuine compassion for my son and us as parents. I could not have asked for better care. Her love for her job and her patients shows through her every word, action, and breath she takes.
