I was in charge in the ICU with two patients. After receiving report at 7:30, I found out we were going to be getting a STAT transfer from PCU that needed to be intubated. Without having to ask, Kristen stepped up and began passing my medications for me on my other patients so that I could focus on intubating my transfer patient.
Once she was done helping me pass my meds, she immediately came into my new patient's room and began helping me with my newly intubated patient. She is a fantastic nurse and an amazing coworker. She always jumps in to help without being asked. She goes above and beyond for her patients as well as others! Thank you, Kristen, for being such an awesome nurse and coworker.
