Our little A was quite the April fool's joke when she showed up 6 weeks early. My wife and I were both terrified, especially knowing she'd be going to the NICU. From the get-go, the nurses in the NICU were amazing. Kristen took great care of A, but also payed close attention to mom and me, truly embodying the holistic approach. We were never unsure of anything, as we felt Kristen went out of her way to care for our entire family. Her compassion and emotional support truly made our experience the least stressful that it could've been. She always went above and beyond, even anticipating our needs, a skill very rare. By the time A went to ISN, we had built a friendship with Kristen. She even kept all of A's BP cuffs, thermometer stickers and EKG pads for us to keep. Kristen is an exceptional nurse!
