A few weeks ago I was admitted to the hospital and stayed for four days. It was determined that I had anxiety conversion, as a result of dealing with my recent terminal diagnosis.
To be at this place in my life, when I hoped to have many more years to live, and have difficulty getting around and caring for myself is a very humbling and frustrating experience in its own unique way. To face such a diagnosis is frightening to say the least, makes me feel helpless at times, and is traumatic for the entire family to cope with.
I wanted to write to commend all of the Adult Medicine]nurses and staff who not only cared for me in a clinical setting but cared for me fully and compassionately with their hearts.
Kristen was my primary RN for the duration of my stay. Kristen always came in with a bright smile and a calm and knowledgeable spirit. I greatly appreciated her taking the time to answer my many questions and encourage me when I was feeling scared and uncertain. She has a beautiful, kind heart, and I want to make sure she is appreciated for it.
Kristen is a true angel and makes a beautiful and valuable difference in her patients' lives.
