Kristen is the definition of caring to her patients. We had a patient here in the ICU for 30 days and I watched Kristen fall in love with her even bringing her music, helping her fix her hair, and would hug her at the end of her shift. That patient's family did not visit often but Kristen's love and care helped heal her out of the ICU. We all cried the day this patient left ICU. Side note: The patient is blind, so she will never know what Kristen looks like, but a hero is what Kristen was to her. A hero she needed.
