My mom did not have pain meds correctly ordered after the OR. Kris worked hard to get pain meds for my mom. Kris listened to family members regarding my mom, her history at what she could do, and her need for pain meds. Kris also listened when I said she could not have any steroids. Kris quickly reviewed meds ordered and saw a med was ordered that my mom could a not have, and Kris excluded the concern to safeguard the patient/mom. Kris was very attentive to the concerns I had and concerns I had for my mom. She is unable to communicate due to level of pain. Kris was focused compassionate and showed excellence.
