When my fiancé and I were involved in a single car wreck where our car rolled several times, we were brought to Halifax ISC. Of course, we were in separate rooms having some very serious injuries and I was very confused, scared, and hurt. Then I met an angel, Kristen. She took care of my medical needs always explaining as she went to help settle my fears, but not only that, she was friendly telling stories helping put me at ease. She listened to me about my health concerns and just in general (I talk a lot when upset). She made me feel safe and as if I wasn't alone. Kristen was so kind to me it was like someone from my family was here taking care of me during this hard time. I believe she is the best nurse!
