My RN was my absolute favorite nurse during my stay at Henderson Hospital. My nurse was so kind and compassionate with every detail while taking care of me. My nurse seemed truly kind, not just faking it. My nurse really showed just how much passion she has for her job. She understood I was unhappy to be on a liquid diet, so she made sure I had plenty of popsicles, apple sauce, and pudding until I could have solid food. That kindness also showed her empathy for my situation. I really trusted her with all my care and felt comforted when she would let me know that I'd be okay. She was much different than any of the other nurses. She stood out due to her clear love for nursing, and her willingness to do everything in her power to make sure her patients are as comfortable as possible. She made sure I had deodorant, lotion, and a toothbrush/toothpaste/mouthwash set without me even asking. She got me a new blanket and pillowcase without asking too. She is the BEST nurse I have ever had... Thank you, Nurse Kristen.
