I went to OSF at 35 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately, our baby daughter has passed away and was stillborn. From the moment we got to the hospital, through labor and delivery, and until her shift ended, Kristen was absolutely incredible. She was kind and compassionate to my husband and me as we found out that our daughter did not have a heartbeat.

Additionally, I was bleeding heavily, and she helped to keep us calm through that scare. Once our daughterwas born, Kristen went above and beyond in her care for both she and I. She was so caring when she gave her a bath, when she held her, when she got her handprints and footprints and measured her. She treated her with dignity and respect that was just above and beyond, and demonstrated so much compassion for our daughter.

She truly helped to make the short time we were able to spend with our daughter meaningful and a time filled with the joy and love that a baby brings, rather than the sorrow of her death. We will never forget the care that Kristen provided.
