Kristen Zambrowicz, LPN

Kristen is an LPN that works with Dr. Rachel Vandenlagenberg at the clinic in Bellevue. I wanted to recognize her for giving my 12-year-old daughter amazing patient focused care! I had delayed her 11-year-old appointment because she HATES getting shots. Kristen immediately realized her fear and connected with her within the 3 seconds it took her to walk to the scale. She related to her and was so empathetic. She also was real with her and let my daughter have as much control as she could in the situation. She also allowed her to stay sitting in a chair she preferred, brought in a second nurse and patiently waited for her to get calm. This appointment easily could have gone much worse but because of Kristen's ability to establish rapport with my daughter so quickly she walked out feeling like she overcame something that was scary for her. From one Bellin nurse to another, thank you for easing our way. Thank you Kristen!
