Kristi was my nurse when I came to welcome our baby B into the world. I work with Kristi every day, and she helped me so much throughout my pregnancy with all my scares and anxiety. The day of my scheduled C-section, she went above and beyond. I always knew she was an outstanding nurse, but getting to be the patient and witness how calming and encouraging she is with her patients was just what I needed. She always goes above and beyond with every task, whether it’s big or small. She constantly reminded me I was strong enough to get through the C/S. She calmed when I got to the table, when I told her, “I can’t do this.” She always has a smile on her face with the most infectious positive attitude. She is simply a breath of fresh air to the unit, but most importantly, to every patient she cares for. Most importantly, thank you for carrying me through our week-long stay. I couldn’t have done it without everyone on the unit, but most importantly, I couldn’t have done it without your daily reminder to stay strong, and we will get through this tough time. Thank you for letting me be a shoulder to cry on when I was scared, defeated, sad, and just upset because I was ready to take my baby home and be normal. So Kristi thank you from the bottom of my heart for 1. Being such a role model in my life. 2. Taking such wonderful care of B, M, and me. We can never thank you enough for everything you did for us!️
