Family members of a deceased patient (who passed away in the field) came into the ED. Kristi took the time to research what happened to the patient and notified the CHP and social worker to come and be with the family. She found a quiet area for them and provided compassionate care. Above and beyond always!
She keeps her kind and calm demeanor in the most stressful of situations. She sets a precedent in the ED that no matter how stressful and hectic the day may be, it is all going to be alright and we will make it through as a group. She was born to lead by example. Kristi is a shining star.
