Kristi Huffert, RN

I woke up from an overdose and was so confused and scared. I was also intubated and could not talk. Kristy made me feel safe and kept reminding me I was safe and in the hospital, and I was okay. I was supposed to be extubated later in the day, but she advocated for me to be extubated early. She also had a heart-to-heart with me about my addiction and my life choices. An inspiration to become a registered nurse. She made such an impact on me in a small amount of time that I met her, and she is a beautiful, wonderful, and inspiring person. She is somebody I will never forget on this road of recovery.
