Kristi I Waterhouse, RN BSN

My dad was brought in with serious head trauma after a bad fall. Kristi was his nurse after a series of strokes compounded his already dire condition. She gave my dad kind and compassionate care, not stopping with medical care, but cleaning, brushing his teeth, and even shaving my dad and not getting frustrated when he pulled out his feeding tube but admiring his spirit. But it was for me, the daughter, that Kristi had the most positive impact. In addition to explaining the medical, she just sat sometimes and talked with me about my mom and my dad…it was so calming and kind and greatly appreciated.
