My mother was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Kristi was extraordinary with her care. She treated mom beautifully, took time to talk to her and treated her like her own mother. She took time to teach her the applesauce trick for taking meds. Mom thought that was the greatest! Just little things like that. Unfortunately while in the hospital we received bad news about moms' cancer. Kristi took my brother and me aside and really spent time explaining things to us. The care and compassion she gave us was way above and beyond what was expected. I can't believe the love and support she showed. She had the worse news to give but did so gently. She held our hands. She was honest. She answered every question we had no matter how simple or stupid, in layman's terms for us to understand. It's impossible to put in writing how important Kristi was to us. I'll never forget her.
