Kristi provides care for the whole family each shift she works. When a 12-year-old, severe trauma patient arrived with a very pregnant mother, Kristi, knowing this patient would be hospitalized for an extended period, helped coordinate a transfer of care to HCMC's.
Midwife Services saw the mom and did the intake right in the PICU, based on Kristi's advocacy. Additionally, Kristi is an extremely talented PICU RN. She is organized, knowledgeable, conscientious, and happy to share her gifts and abilities to those around her.
Kristi is recognized by her peers for her expertise in providing care to critically ill pediatric patients and their families. She is extremely organized and efficient, as well as a wonderful team player andpreceptor tostudents and new nurses.
